    John Krause Private Investigator

    My Background

I began my career after working in the ministry with abused and neglected children and teens. I was hired by CCP/Pinkerton's in Tampa Florida in November of 1987. Prior to relocating to the St. Petersburg area I was employed by Fort Lauderdale P.I Richard Smith where I conducted skip traces and background checks.

After beginning my new found career with Pinkerton's under the sponsorship of Anthony Testa and Michael Boots, I relocated again to
Pensacola. There I was interned with Trace Investigations and went on to work for Claims Confirmation Specialist, Ken Sullenburger. I then opened my own agency in February 1990.

Have since held on to clients for long term periods conducting covert surveillance operations on work comp claimants, slip and fall claims and auto accident cases. My references are available upon request.

In 1994 I met a prominent D.U.I.  Attorney F.T. Ratchford whom along with his associate William Fisher taught me the art of defending D.U.I cases. From this I decided to author The Private Investigators Guide due to my agency requiring a training manual for my associates while I continued onto the criminal defense line. This brought about the writing of The Private Investigators Guide. I slowly departed from the insurance defense side of the business to working everything from D.U.I to Criminal and Child Custody.

Currently I work with 71 clients, not all at once but regularly.
