    Computer Forensics

    Computer forensics is the application of computer investigation and analysis techniques in the interests of determining potential legal evidence. Evidence might be sought in a wide range of computer crime or misuse, including but not limited to theft of trade secrets, theft of or destruction of intellectual property, and fraud. Criminal Prosecutors use computer evidence in a variety of crimes where incriminating documents can be found: homicides, financial fraud, drug and embezzlement record-keeping, and child pornography. Civil litigations can readily make use of personal and business records found on computer systems that bear on: fraud, divorce, discrimination, and harassment cases. Insurance Companies may be able to mitigate costs by using discovered computer evidence of possible fraud in accident, arson, and workman's compensation cases. Corporations often hire computer forensics specialists to ascertain evidence relating to: sexual harassment, embezzlement, theft or misappropriation of trade secrets and other internal/confidential information. Law Enforcement Officials frequently require assistance in pre-search warrant preparations and post-seizure handling of the computer equipment.

    Thomas Crowley is a certified computer forensics specialist. He has worked with a wide variety of computers since 1957 as a Fire Control Technician in the United States Navy aboard a destroyer. Recently he attended Florida Southwest College and studied courses relative to Microsoft Systems Network Engineering including Microsoft Windows 2000, Network Operating System Essentials, Windows 2000 Professional, Advanced Server, email capabilities and essentials including TCP/IP, examination of web services, NTFS, security issues and a host of other subjects. He maintained an "A" average.

    Crowley is certified in the use of the most advanced forensic field search software in the world that has the capability of searching from the dos level thereby assuring the suspect computer is not altered. These examination processes are 100% accurate and are completed in a fraction of the time it currently takes law enforcement not using this software to accomplish the same task, and on site at your location! Federal, state and local law enforcement agencies are currently beginning to use this software as their primary computer forensics tool. Why? Because it is automatic, 100% accurate, complies with the most recent court decisions and has the unparalleled confidence of knowledgeable computer engineers and computer forensics experts world wide.

    Whether it is a word, an image or a term, if it's on the computer, we will find it! If you are involved in a situation where there is a computer anywhere around, you better believe there will be evidence on it.

    Reasons to search computers are just about anything you can imagine, including;

    • · Industrial espionage
    • · Larceny
    • · Burglary
    • · Employee performance
    • · Sex crimes including sexual harassment
    • · Spousal cheating
    • · Cyber stalking
    • · pornography and your children
    • · Just about anything else you can imagine!

    The speed at which we search is over 400 megs per minute. This is 5 times faster than a 10BaseT local area network connection.

    We will examine your current server and PC configuration with your systems administrator if you have one. If not, we will act as the administrator to properly set your system up. We will advise on security measures to help prevent important data from external and internal intruders and industrial espionage, an alarmingly increasing world wide problem that is growing annually. In furtherence of this we will set up a base line of computer usage in your organization and improve organizational productivity, sometime dramatically. We will tell you who is productive, who is misusing company computers, and in many cases who is copying important files to removable storage media, a sure sign of improper activity.

    Our reports will be generated on the spot if you wish and are engineered to be acceptable in court proceedings everywhere. If you have computer concerns, you need to call North American investigations, the certified computer forensics experts.813-996-6747.
