This is a perfect entry-level/internship position for the aspiring private investigator. The successful candidate will have a chance to train with one of the country's top rated private investigators and work for a nationally recognized investigations agency. This is not a summer internship program and is only called an "internship" due to Florida licensing laws. The chosen candidates will be directly responsible in assisting management in building and conducting business within the Pensacola, FL region.
Due to the nature of private investigations, this position will require extremely odd and arduous hours to include very early mornings, late nights, weekends and some holidays. Work will be part time until training and caseload will support additional hours and investigative responsibilities.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
Complete all company directed training programs and initiatives.
Conduct a variety of investigations under the supervision of the Investigations Manager.
Prepare investigative reports.
Customer service. Customer service. Customer service.
Prepare advertising and marketing collateral.
Give presentations within the community and attend social business functions.
Excel spread sheet management.
Other administrative/investigative/training tasks that may arise.
The successful candidate will be able to use MS Outlook, Word and Excel, at a minimum. Outstanding written and oral communication skills are a must. Appearance must be professional. You will be required to qualify for state issued licensing which will require an extensive background check, please do not apply if you believe your criminal conviction history will disqualify you from licensing.
You must provide your own reliable (insured) automobile, suitable for investigative activities. Video and photographic equipment will be provided.
