    International Investigators, Inc.

International Private Investigator Firm Based in Indianapolis, Indiana

Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, we are private investigators operating with resident agents in numerous US cities, and in over 70 countries worldwide.  Formed in 1960 by former FBI agents, our firm is a private full-service company presently staffed by former Indianapolis Police investigators and government agents, as well as current police department detectives who assist us off-duty.  In addition, our organization includes numerous professional private investigators with expertise in the various fields necessary to ensure that both large- and small-scale cases can be coordinated from our Indianapolis office without leaving any aspect unchecked.  By coordinating the work of field operatives, specialists and research professionals, our operations managers prepare comprehensive and thorough reports to provide our clients with reliable facts so that they can make informed decisions.

The Approach and Methods of Our Indianapolis Investigators

Each of our clients is unique and brings with them a special situation to be investigated that might include any number of variables which could require one or more methods of investigation.  Thus, in order to simplify the types of services we offer, we have categorized them on this website:  Legal, Forensic, Insurance, Corporate, Private, and Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM).  Each category of service is meant to help clients define their objectives and clarify the nature of information needed.

Prior to commencing work, our lead investigator will discuss in depth with our clients their needs and situation, either by telephone or in-person at our Indianapolis office, in order to gather all available information necessary to prepare the proper approach and develop a suitable plan of action.  Often times, projects may require input from the full Indianapolis-based staff, thus permitting us to draw upon an assortment of experiences from many different investigators within the company.  This team approach allows for the development of solutions which are scalable, flexible and result-oriented.  When necessary, we also consult with our overseas operatives in matters of an international scale.

After obtaining the client’s approval to proceed, the appropriate specialists and investigators are given their assignments, with much of the initial research being conducted from within our Indianapolis office whenever possible in order to minimize overall expenses.  These preliminary investigative results are then passed along to the field investigators who will gather the remaining information.  Thereafter, an initial investigative report is relayed to the client, along with recommendations for further inquiry, if appropriate.  Many times, the information revealed may result in the client’s request and authorization for additional investigation.  In such circumstances, our worldwide network of private investigators and highly-skilled specialists has been our strength.  Our operation permits the investigations to evolve through multiple stages of case development, and even overseas if necessary.

The Advantages of Using a Private Investigator Located in Indianapolis

Unlike other Indianapolis investigators, we are international, and not limited to conducting private investigations near our company’s home base.  With over 45 years of experience, we have found our success and longevity is primarily due to providing superior, personalized services nationwide and worldwide at Midwestern pricing standards.  This is most notably demonstrated with our Physical Surveillance and Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) services, which can cost thousands of dollars more at East or West Coast pricing levels.

As professional private investigators, we also fill the gap for companies and individuals outside of Indianapolis who have used the commonly-advertised nationwide online databases but been unable to develop the information they were seeking.  Our personalized, hands-on approach allows us to obtain far more information that is developed to meet the specific needs outlined during direct contact with our clients.
