i. INTERVIEWING WITNESSES
Moreover, we can interview the Crown’s witnesses to get them to give another Statement for comparison with their previous Statement. Hopefully they will give a different conflicting version, which will be used to discredit their testimony at trial.
ii. POLICE PROCEDURE REVIEWS
We can review the conduct and the written notes of the arresting and investigating officers to determine if they followed standard operating procedures and didn’t violate the constitutional rights of the accused.
iii. CRIME SCENE RECONSTRUCTION
We can arrange to examine all the Crown’s Physical Evidence and visit the crime scene and determine if the Crown’s theory is plausible.
We will search for exculpatory evidence ignored by the Police, but could aid the Defense.
iv. DOCUMENT AUTHENTICATION
We have experts who can render an opinion as to the authentication of documents and signatures. We can determine if any document is a forgery or has a forged signature.
v. HAND WRITING ANALYSIS
We have experts in Canada and the USA who are Court Approved Experts in the science of “Handwriting Analysis”. Handwriting Analysis is used and applied for several purposes, one of which is to determine if the writer is nervous, lying or exaggerating the facts as they describe them.
vi. POLYGRAPH (LIE DETECTOR)
We have experts who can conduct Polygraph Tests to determine if the Subject is telling the truth when asked specific questions. We also can conduct Voice Stress Analysis using a Computer-Aided Voice Stress Analyzer either in person or over the telephone.
